i.Mune® bisuPrep [RUO]

(for Research Use Only; not available in the United States of America)

i.Mune bisuPrep [RUO] contains reagents needed for bisulfite conversion and subsequent DNA extraction from 60 human samples or Controls.

The kit has been validated for 40 µl whole blood or a 6 mm punch of dried blood. Other sample types (see list below) can be processed as well.

Kit Content

The i.Mune bisuPrep (RUO) kit contains all reagents for bisulfite conversion and extraction of genomic DNA from human samples. After lysis and bisulfite conversion (45 min at 80 °C), the DNA is bound to magnetic beads, washed twice and bisulfite DNA is eluted for subsequent analysis in PCR or NGS applications. The kit works with a variety of sample types.

Sample Types that Can be Processed

The kit can be used to process the following sample types:

  • Whole blood
  • PBMC
  • Buffy Coats
  • Extracted DNA
  • Dried Blood Spots (DBS)
  • Other body fluids, e.g. liquor, saliva

Dried Blood (DBS) Collection Systems Successfully Used

It has been demonstrated that the  protocol can be used for dried blood samples collected with:
